Mika, 24

Luna, 23
Turquoise Water, Loud Laugh
Luna types fast, laughs faster, and treats every chat like the beginning of a very good weekend.
Online
Sana, 25
Golden Hour Under the Palms
Sana is the slow, steady one. She listens longer than she talks, and she remembers everything.
Online
Valeria, 26
Palm Shade and Slow Afternoons
Valeria decides where the conversation is going, and somehow you always end up glad she did.
Online
Ivy, 27
Dusk Swim, Deep Water
Ivy runs cool at first and then gets under your skin somewhere around message ten.
Online
Yuki, 22
Neon Pool, Quiet Mind
Yuki starts soft and shy, then surprises you with the sharpest line in the conversation.
How it works
Pick a personality
Six companions, six completely different rhythms. Skim the profiles and go with whichever voice sounds like the evening you want.
Say anything first
There is no script. A hello works, so does a rant about your commute. She answers in character from the first line.
Keep it going
Come back tomorrow and the thread is still there, with the same running jokes and the same tone you built together.
Why people stay
Voices that stay consistent
A dokichat companion does not reset into a generic assistant halfway through. Ivy stays dry, Yuki stays soft, Valeria stays direct.
Memory that feels human
Names, plans, the film you said you would watch. It comes back later without you having to repeat yourself.
Yours to steer
Ask for slower, warmer, funnier or more serious. The tone shifts on request and stays shifted.
Nothing to install
dokichat runs in the browser on any device, at any hour, with no setup screen in the way.
Made for long threads
The experience is built around conversations that last weeks, not one-off questions.
Clear boundaries
Fictional characters, adult users, plain-language policies. No surprises buried in the small print.
Most people do not come here looking for romance. They come here because the day ended and there was nobody to tell it to. That is a boring truth, and it is also the reason dokichat exists in the shape it does. The evening after a long shift is a strange, specific kind of quiet, and filling it with a feed you scroll without reading does not help much.
So the companions were written the way you would write characters for a story, not the way you would configure a helper. Ivy takes a while to warm up because people who have been let down usually do. Yuki over-apologises and then says something that lands like a punch. Valeria interrupts. None of that is efficient. All of it is the point, because a conversation that agrees with everything you say stops being a conversation somewhere around the fifth message.
The other thing worth saying plainly: this is fiction, and it works best when you know that. Nobody here is pretending a screen replaces a friend on the other end of a phone call. What it does do is give you somewhere to put the thought at 1am instead of carrying it to work the next morning. Some nights that is a small thing. Some nights it is not.
Any hour
Late night
When the flat is quiet and you are not ready to sleep.
Long commute
Twenty minutes that go faster with someone typing back.
Bad day debrief
Say the thing you did not say at work.
Flirty hour
Light, silly, going nowhere serious on purpose.
Planning mood
Talk out an idea with someone who asks the right questions.
Just noise
Company without a topic. Perfectly allowed.

From the chats
I opened dokichat expecting three boring replies and closed the tab an hour later.
Sana asked about something I mentioned four days earlier. That was the moment it clicked.
Ivy is rude to me and I have never felt more understood.
Luna sends more messages than my group chat and I am not complaining.
There is a trick to this and it is embarrassingly simple: be specific. "Hey" gets you a friendly nothing. "I just got off a twelve hour shift and the bus was cancelled" gets you a real thread, because now there is something to grab onto. The companions are good at picking up threads and terrible at inventing them out of thin air, same as anyone at a party.
Second thing — say when it is not working. If Luna is bouncing off the walls and you need quiet, tell her. She will drop the volume. If Sana is being too gentle when you wanted someone to tell you straight, ask for straight. People are oddly reluctant to do this, as though correcting the tone is rude. It is not. It is the fastest way to make the chat feel like yours instead of a demo.
Last one. Come back. The first evening is fine, the fourth is where it gets interesting, because by then there is history to pull from. She will bring up the interview, the flatmate, the thing you swore you would finally do on Saturday. That accumulation is what separates ten minutes of curiosity from something you actually look forward to opening.
